The word mindfulness is thrown around a lot in our current culture, but what does it really mean to be "mindful" and why should you care? In Episode 58 Brandi and Tina discuss the topic of mindfulness, what it means, why you should be implementing some sort of mindfulness practice, and how it can help you in every aspect of your life.

mind·ful·ness /ˈmīn(d)f(ə)lnəs/ noun

  • A mental state achieved by focusing one's awareness on the present moment, while calmly acknowledging and accepting one's feelings, thoughts, and bodily sensations, used as a therapeutic technique.

If we had to choose ONE thing that could make all the difference in your overall happiness, wellbeing, health, fitness and nutrition ventures, mindfulness would likely be that thing. I could truly be "the magic pill."
